Refund and Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Jishnu. This policy governs the cancellation and refund terms for our premium subscription tier, "Pro Pilot", which provides unlimited mock tests and advanced AI features. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing a subscription.

1. Cancellation Policy

We believe in giving you full control over your subscription.

  • How to Cancel: You can cancel your "Pro Pilot" subscription at any time directly through your account dashboard by navigating to Settings > Billing > Cancel Subscription. You do not need to contact support to process a cancellation.
  • Continued Access: If you choose to cancel, your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing cycle. You will continue to have full access to all premium features until that billing cycle concludes.
  • No Automatic Renewal: Once canceled, your account will automatically downgrade to our free tier at the end of the billing period, and you will not be charged again.

2. Strict Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our digital services and the significant costs associated with our AI integrations, Jishnu enforces a strict refund policy.

WARNING: No Refunds for Partial Use: All payments processed via Razorpay are final. We do not provide refunds, prorated refunds, or credits for any partial-month subscription periods, unused accounts, or if you simply change your mind after the billing cycle has started.

  • Initial Purchases & Renewals: Once a billing cycle (monthly or annual) has been initiated and the payment has been successfully processed, the charge is non-refundable. Please ensure you manage your subscription actively if you do not wish to be billed for a subsequent term.
  • RBI e-Mandate Compliance (Recurring Payments): For users in India setting up recurring card or UPI Autopay mandates via Razorpay, you will receive a pre-debit notification at least 24 hours prior to the renewal charge in accordance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines. You may cancel the mandate at any time during this pre-debit window via your dashboard or the link provided in the notification to prevent the next charge.
  • Account Termination: If your account is terminated or suspended due to a violation of our Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) or Terms of Service, you will not be entitled to any refund for the remaining time on your subscription.

3. Digital Goods & AI Infrastructure Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Why we enforce this strict policy: When you purchase the "Pro Pilot" tier, you are granted immediate access to our proprietary digital goods (the entire mock test question bank) and high-cost computing resources (the Google Gemini AI infrastructure used for study plan generation and performance analytics).

Because these digital assets are instantly consumed or accessible, and to prevent abuse of our expensive AI infrastructure, we cannot offer retroactive refunds. This policy ensures we can maintain fair pricing and high-quality service for all genuine users.

4. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact our billing team before initiating any dispute or chargeback with your bank or credit card provider.

  • Fraudulent chargebacks or disputes filed while you actively consumed the services will be vigorously contested and may result in the permanent ban of your account and email address from the Jishnu platform.
